LINCS: Leveraging Investments in Neighborhood Corridors

LINCS logoLeveraging Investments in Neighborhood Corridors (LINCS) is an interagency partnership to revitalize key corridors that connect neighborhoods and communities throughout the City. The goal of this initiative is to enhance the aesthetics and economic vitality of these gateways, while seeking to improve quality of life and increase community capacity.

 

 

The corridors included in LINCS are:

  • Greenmount Avenue
  • Pennsylvania/ West North Avenues
  • Liberty Heights Boulevard
  • East North Avenue
  • Central Avenue

An implementation strategy will be developed for each corridor focusing on:

  • Economic Development
  • Land Use and Zoning
  • Transportation
  • Public Safety and Health
  • Sanitation.

The City has begun work on the Greenmount Avenue, Pennsylvania/West North Avenue, and Liberty Heights Avenue/Garrison Boulevard corridors. To read more about these initiatives click on the links below:
