Our Baltimore Moves to Phase 2 - Join us at 'Shape Your City' Workshops

Baltimore’s Department of Planning Moves to Phase Two of Our Baltimore – Your Input Needed at 'Shape Your City' Workshops This Fall

The Department of Planning is announcing the beginning of the "Creating” - Phase 2 for Our Baltimore. The plan is based on community input and values, with a focus on topics related to urban planning: land use, transportation, housing, community facilities, and more.

Phase 1 of Our Baltimore focused on listening to the public – through our Community Engagement Leadership team and Open House events, we heard about the issues that matter most to Baltimore residents.

This input informed the development of our priority topics. For each priority topic, we are working closely with sister agencies to develop a background brief. Background briefs will be released over the coming month.

Discussion of each topic will occur across the City of Baltimore in October and November. Workshops will be co-hosted collaboratively by Community Planners and Community Engagement Leadership team organizations. The purpose of each workshop is to generate a menu of recommendations to feed into the draft plan. The draft document will be drafted and released in 2023 based on input this fall.
