Northwest Neighborhood Grants and Pimlico Local Impact Aid Quarterly Reports

State law requires recipients of NW Neighborhood Grants and allocation sin the Local Impact Aid Spending Plan to track and report their spending and project progress on a quarterly basis. Grantees must complete a report form for every Local Impact Aid-funded project for which their organization or agency currently has active funding. Active funding means that a grantee has not yet submitted a final report accounting for how the totality of funding has been spent, and that the City has not yet confirmed that the project is closed. Key Deadlines

  • First Quarter of FY24 (July-Sept., 2023): October 10, 2023
  • Second Quarter of FY24 (Oct.-Dec. 2023): January 31, 2024
  • Third Quarter of FY24 (Jan.-March 2024): April 8, 2024
  • Fourth Quarter of FY24 (April-June 2024): July 8, 2024
  • Every quarter on the first Monday after the 5th of the month until the project is closed.

2023-2024 Northwest Neighborhood Grants Program

The Baltimore City Department of Planning (DOP), with the advice of the Pimlico Community Development Authority (PCDA), has awarded 12 Northwest Neighborhood Grants for the 2023-2024 grant cycle. This community-driven grant program provides funding of between $500 up to $30,000 to support meaningful and measurable changes for residents of the Liberty-Wabash, Northwest Community Planning Forum, and the Coldspring-Newtown areas. In 2024-2025, the Department of Planning and PCDA look forward to expanding the Northwest Neighborhood Grants into the Park Heights Master Plan Area.

The program is made possible by Pimlico Local Impact Aid, the State revenue generated by video lottery terminal funds and annually allocated by State statute for community development in neighborhoods near Pimlico Racecourse.
