Plan updates

  • The Planning Commission adopted the final INSPIRE Plan on on June 8, 2023. Read the plan.
  • As of fall 2022, Department of Planning staff are working to revise and finalize the INSPIRE plan for adoption by the Baltimore City Planning Commission in late 2022 or early 2023. Take a look at our recent presentations to the Greektown Neighborhood Association from October 2022 and January 2023.
  • A draft INSPIRE Recommendation Report was published in November 2019 as an English version and Spanish version. Presentation materials from the November 20, 2019 meeting sharing the draft report are also available in English and Spanish.

The “Listen” phase of INSPIRE is focused on gathering information. In addition to working with community members, DOP staff begin to review existing neighborhood plans and history, and collect demographic data.
