Plan updates

The Department of Planning (DOP) is working with members of the school and neighborhood to better understand their neighborhood experiences, priorities, and concerns.

  • Update – January 12, 2023: Members of the Com. John Rodgers EMS school community are encouraging to complete our online survey seeking feedback on the school's primary walking routes!

Upcoming and ongoing activities

  • 21st Century Schools is currently supporting a design process to replace the existing Com. John Rodgers EMS school building with a new building. Learn more about the status of the design and construction process on the 21st Century Schools Baltimore website. 
  • DOP staff are working to identify primary walking routes by February 2023 to support sidewalk repairs, new trees, and other improvements before the opening of the new school building.
  • DOP staff expect to start outreach for the INSPIRE area recommendation report in fall 2023. Learn more about the INSPIRE planning process.
